June will be a cathartic month kicked off by a Solar Eclipse on June 1, 2011 at 5:03 pm East Coast time. This is a partial Solar Eclipse at 11 degrees Gemini which will be very active for air signs of Gemini, Libra and Aquarius and also beneficial to fire signs of Aries, Leo and Sagitarrius. This Solar Eclipse will be visible in northern latitudes including parts of Asia, Alaska, Canada, Greenland, Iceland and Scandinavia. Those parts of the world will be activated by this eclipse meaning that events such as Earth changes or political/social shifts may occur in these places. Eclipses are considered potent times which mark sudden, abrupt changes that create electromagnetic shifts. We can feel these shifts and changes up to two weeks before the actual eclipse. The Full Moon of May 17, 2011, also known as the Wesak festival, stirred up the pot leading into this Eclipse cycle and brought out shadow energies. Many people were feeling depressed and out of sorts for the past few weeks.
Solar eclipses shift the frequencies of light hitting planet Earth, as the solar particles are blocked by a much smaller moon for a few minutes. This can result in a crisis or an emergence out of solar eclipse with the ability to harness more light, and a potential upgrade to our biochemical circuitry. Integration of these new potentialities can take up to six months before they come to the surface.
Solar eclipses also shed light on what has been hidden that may be dysfunctional so it can be healed. In the Vedic Cosmology, Solar Eclipses are considered times for honoring Ganesha, (the jolly elephant-headed representative of the Divine) who is the removal of obstacles. Chanting to Ganesha during this Solar eclipse is very auspicious. The Ganesha mula mantra of "OM GUM GANAPATAYEI NAMAHA" will be very effective.
We are currently entering a six-week cycle of Eclipses including June 1, 2011 Solar Eclipse (New Moon in Gemini) , followed by a Lunar Eclipse (full moon in Gemini) on June 15, 2011 and a Partial Solar Eclipse (New Moon in Cancer) on July 1, 2011. Due to the intensity and astrological configurations for this eclipse series, changes will be sudden, forceful and transformative. It may be uncomfortable, but we are birthing a new Earth. We have to let go of the past and our shadow, to be free to explore the new time/space continuum hitting the planet. This is a window of opportunity for aligning with source and creating your future on New Earth that surpasses any of the previous astrological alignments. The Cardinal Cross of 2010 was about rooting out what did not work in your life and suffering through the consequences. This Eclipse pattern is setting up new formations and new structures.
Eclipses occur in six month and 19 year cycles , so issues will tend to resurface which you were dealing with in those time frames. The 19 year cycle is very important because it marks the lunar nodal return. In this instance, the nodes are South Node Gemini and North Node Sagitarrius. The nodal return cycle shows individuals the path of the soul and re-awakens soul gifts. So for this current cycle - look back to what you were facing in December 2010 and January 2011 (for the 6 month eclipse cycle), and then go further back to Summer of 1992 (for the 19 year Nodal return cycle! I have to laugh, because as I am writing this on the eve of the Solar eclipse, my house is filled with teenage boys who are 18-19 years old born during the last Gemini South Node/ Sagittarius North Node eclipse cycle!! Astrology is such a fun science. I know personally, I was birthing something very powerful in my life during both those cycles. So yes, this is a cycle of Rebirth!
On June 15, 2011 we will experience the Gemini Full Moon Lunar eclipse with the Sun in Gemini and Moon in Sagittarius. This lunar eclipse aligns with the Galactic Center which means our planet will be hovering at a critical point. Again, earth changes, socio-political shifts will be forthcoming and we have to stay centered to weather the powerful changes. At the very least, weather patterns will be weird, and behaviors will be erratic. I would advise against traveling during this full moon.
Lunar eclipses tend to bring out the shadow of what has been hidden and solar eclipses shed further light on the necessary actions to solve the shadow issues and take action to move forward. This is a good time to ensure your life is following the trajectory of your future intentions for health, wealth, prosperity, love and happiness, or make adjustments. A solar eclipse marks a new cycle for the next six months, so take advantage of this influx of new energy, which feels like a cosmic breath of fresh air. Where have you been stagnating in your life? Higher dimensional frequencies are now available to make big shifts.
The next eclipse in this series occurs on July 1, 2011 with a partial solar eclipse, New Moon in Cancer. I will write more about this in the July newsletter and much will be revealed during the month of June 2011. Just know that we are being assisted by the higher consciousness galactic beings of Arcturus and Plaiedes, especially on the Lunar Eclipse of June 15, 2011 as the Full Moon aligns with the Galactic Center. Infusions of light and love will be downloaded into Mother Earth. Make sure you are tuned in to receive them.
So, stay grounded this summer - send positive energies to the planet and its inhabitants, pray for peace, love and understanding. My teacher, Namadeva Archarya, - Thomas Ashley-Farrand (who left his body on October 1, 2010) shared a wonderful sanskrit mantra for mother earth - "OM BHU DEVYEI NAMAHA". Also, the Tibetan mantra, the Kalachakra Mantra - "OM HAK SA MA LA VA RA YUM SWAHA" suggested by Namadeva Archarya and the Dalai Lama to assist with personal and planetary evolution. When in doubt, always chant OM SHANTI OM, OM SHANTI OM, OM SHANTI OM "- PEACE PEACE PEACE.
