What's My Dharma? What's My Karma? Saturn, Capricorn and the 10th House in your Natal Birthchart In this workshop we will explore the relevance of the planet Saturn in our lives. Saturn is a the ruler of Capricorn and the 10th House in Astrology which is our house of Career, Professional life, Parents, Success, and Fame. Saturn has just shifted into the sign Libra for the next few years which will bring a focus on right relationships and finding balance and peace.. Saturn points us to our mission in life (known as Dharma in Sanskrit), this is more than just an occupation or job. Chiron: The Wounded Healer and Teacher Archetype Chiron is an asteroid that was discovered in 1977, heralding the arrival of the holistic health movement and the New Age. This seminar explores the archetypal energy of Chiron and the importance of Chiron in our astrological chart and our lives. Everyone has Chiron in their astrological chart and this is the place where we are forced to heal physical, emotional, psychological or soul wounds so that we may harness our own power. Chiron provides depth and insight into our journey and walking our path with grace. When we understand our Chiron we can become more successful in life, take on more creativity, heal DNA or soul issues, and leave a healthy legacy for our children in many ways. Many healers and therapists and those with the potential to heal others have strong Chiron placements in their chart. PLANET MANTRAS: MANTRA THERAPY TO MITIGATE PERSONAL PLANETARY KARMAS
Based on the ancient Vedic system of astrology from India, chanting mantras for the planets in our birthchart can serve as a remedy in mitigating planetary karmas. According to the science of "Jyotish" or Vedic astrology (also known as the "Science of Light") we are all born with prarabdha karmas or planetary karmas which are challenges or gifts incurred on the soul level. Our natal birthchart reveals how these karmas occur in our life. Jill will teach Sanskrit mantras from the Vedic system of astrology which help soften or lessen our negative karmas. In the spiritual classic, Autobiography of a Yogi, Paramahansa Yogananda's guru, Sri Yukteswar tells him the following on astrology: "A child is born on that day and at that hour when the celestial rays are in mathematical harmony with his individual karma. His horoscope is a challenging portrait revealing his unalterable past and its probably future results. But the natal chart can be rightly interpreted by men (women) of intuitive wisdom: these are few." "The message boldly blazoned across the heavens at the moment of birth is not meant to emphasize fate - the result of past good and evil - but to arouse man's will to escape from his universal thralldom. What he has done, he can undo..." Chanting planetary mantras, wearing proper gem remedies, performing yogic practices including bhakti (devotional yoga) and service to humanity (karma yoga) are ways we can undo malefic karmas shown in our birthcharts. In this workshop, Jill will teach the 12 Sun mantras and their fruits, mantras for the Moon, Mercury, Venus,Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, lunar north node (Rahu) and lunar south node (Ketu). Jill will also suggest mantras for the outer planets of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto even though they are not used in Vedic astrology. Gemstone remedies will also be recommended to ease planetary karmas. **** Attendees must submit birth info to Jill prior to class date including date of birth, place of birth, and time of birth (if known).
